Solved : Lenovo A6000 Lollipop update error "Your phone doesn't switch carrier, cannot upgrade"
As Lenovo A6000 latest update for Android Lollipop (Kraft-A6000_S056_150924) is out, so after downloading the heavy update file most of the users are getting error message like "Your phone doesn't switch carrier, cannot upgrade" which is really frustrating. So this doesn't mean you cannot upgrade to Android Lollipop version manually and don't worry you don't have to be a professional to resolve this issue.
Simply click on the above link and download the file. After downloading connect your phone with USB Cable to your computer and select "MTP" on your phone. Now open the Internal Memory Folder (SD CARD) on your computer and paste the downloaded file (system.zip) in your sd card. After pasting the file in your sd card remove the USB Cable.
Downloading file on your Mobile:
For downloading on mobile simply click on the above link and make sure that in your phone settings > storage > default write disk should be selected as SD card.
STEP 1: Hold and press Volume Up and Volume Down button along with power button (all buttons located on the right hand side of the phone) all together until the phone restarts and take to you to black screen (Recovery Mode).
STEP 2: After entering the recovery mode operate the screen with Volume Up key(for scrolling up) ,volume down key(for scrolling down) and power key(for selecting an option).
STEP 3: Now Select the option "apply update from sdcard" and choose the .zip file that you have saved in your sdcard i.e SYSTEM.ZIP.
Now Sit back and relax because it will take 10-20 minutes approximately to install the new update.
and its done,
ENJOY your new Android Lollipop Update in your Lenovo A6000.
